All of us dream of glowing and healthy hair but it is not very easy to have and maintain shining and healthy hair.
Too much or too little of a particular vitamin can contribute to thinning of the hair, brittleness, baldness, and hair and scalp dryness. However, the right amount of certain B vitamins, as well as vitamins A C, and E will give you the hair you’ve always wanted. Your hair will be more radiant, thicker and stronger.
Healthy hair and skin says a lot about how healthy you are, and it makes or breaks a first impression. A little something ladies might find interesting is that one of the primary features on a woman that men find attractive is a healthy, flowing head of hair. So take good care of yours; feed it the vitamins and nutrients that make your hair come alive.
B Vitamins – The B vitamins are probably the best vitamin sources for healthy hair. This includes pantothenic acid (B5), pyridoxine (B6), biotin (B7), folate (B9) and vitamin B12. All of these vitamins are water soluble, meaning they are easily absorbed by the body and are easily eliminated during urination. So you will need to constantly feed your body with these vitamins in order to capture and keep their effects for your hair’s vitality.
Other important vitamins and minerals include B complex, which is associated with energy production and building good hair and skin issues, folic acid, B12, and zinc.
When choosing hair products, I highly suggest going as natural as possible. I have traded all the popular stuff from the beauty store for the natural stuff at the health store.
Some Products I have tried and recommend:
Energizer Treatment Shampoo– This shampoo is amazing, I mix is with a couple drops of Jojoba oil since it is “super-concentrated”. It penetrates deeply into the hair follicles to destroy harmful dirt and oil build-up and emulsify layers of sebum from the scalp. You can find it online at : www.folica,com

Happy New Year ! The new year is here, we’ve been enjoying the holidays and the weather is freezing. Now that the cheesecake and eggnog is almost over, most of us have probaly gained a few extra pounds over the winter holidays. Here are a few ways to help lose weight naturally by eating healthy and exercising.
I decided to make some more cupcakes for graduation day. The day turned out very nice, the only thing was how insanely cold it was. After graduation I went to dinner with my family and friends, and then I hosted a little graduation after party for me and my brother Luis. The main focus of course being my delicious cupcakes.
Butter cream cupcakes turned upside-down, topped with a chocolate covered graham cracker (use frosting as “glue”), an m&m mini and the tassel made of blue butter cream frosting. Continue reading
For the past several months, I have been slowly increasing my baking skill level. My personal favorite things to bake are cupcakes. I must have made about 1,000 cupcakes since I started baking. I love decorating them, its another way for me to let out my creativity. My favorite part is when they’re done and devoured by my friends and family 🙂
This year for Thanksgiving, I will be making more delicious cupcakes. I wanted to share some of the ideas I am looking at and considering, in case it’s something you’d like to do. I’ll post picture of my cupcakes on Thanksgiving 🙂
So cute little turkey cupcakes, made with marshmallows and coconut. See the Recipe
Cherry pie themed cupcakes. See Recipe.
Really cute ideas from Duncan Hines. See Recipes.
Looking forward to trying one or two of these out.
It can be hard to keep a healthy diet when you keep eating the same things over again. I try to eat green veggies as often as I can, since they are loaded with vitamins and minerals. I wanted to share my new addiction and favorite way to get some spinach in the a.m.
Eggs (as many as you want, I put 3 or 4 and share it )
Spinach leaves ( I like baby spinach and I cut them in halves)
Pre-heat broiler or oven to 450 degrees.
1. Stir your eggs together in a bowl
2. Mix in onions
3. Mix in spinach leaves
4. Pour eggs in a pan and set heat to medium
5. As the omlette starts cooking move the ingredients around and let the eggs slide under to make sure the eggs cook all the way through.
6. Let it sit in the broiler for a couple minutes and let it start to brown on top. If you want, you can also add some cheese on top before so it melts on top.
Hope you like it!
